Professor of Art History, specialist in Digital Humanities and director of the Department of Art History at the University of Malaga, where she directs iArtHis_Lab, a research, training and innovation laboratory focused on the study of Art History and artistic culture from digital and computational perspectives.

She is honorary president of the International Society for Hispanic Digital Humanities, founder and coordinator of the International Network for Digital Studies of Artistic Culture (ReArte.Dix.). Since 2020, she is a full member of the European Academy in the section of Musicology and Art History.
