The aim of this event is to promote telecommunications, scientific culture, technology and innovation among students of ESO, Bachillerato and intermediate and higher vocational training to awaken scientific and technological vocations. The aim is to help them discover, learn about and value the contribution of science and technology in our lives, as well as to understand the fundamental elements and procedures of scientific research and methods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Olympiads challenge participants to develop a project that links telecommunications with the environment. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdsocialesa2030.gob.es\/agenda2030\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030<\/a>, The project will promote knowledge of the areas in which telecommunications are present in the daily life of society. It can be carried out by developing a prototype programmed on any programmable platform with the Arduino IDE that demonstrates how telecommunications help to achieve SDG 11: SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='hr av-4r4g65-cc53d7d33ed1fd56c1d6f7354ba61605 hr-default  avia-builder-el-3  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock'><span class='hr-inner'><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-ljturktc-94842000f082cacf9dd7d9c60fbd3515'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><div class=\"contentbody news-contentbody\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The awards were sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.promalaga.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prom\u00e1laga<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/catedratelefonicauma.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telef\u00f3nica Chair at the University of Malaga<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.companyon.teleco.uma.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CompanyON Chair<\/a>, which includes the companies <a href=\"https:\/\/bullnetcapital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bullnet Capital<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dekra.es\/es\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dekra<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ericsson.com\/es\/about-us\/company-facts\/ericsson-worldwide\/spain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ericsson<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idneo.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Idneo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keysight.com\/us\/en\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keysight<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lda-audiotech.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LDA AudioTech<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grupopremo.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premo<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tupl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tupl<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Around 100 people filled the hall in a relaxed event in which participants and their families, as well as representatives of the secondary schools, celebrated the work, effort and passion that has characterised these Olympiads from their earliest stages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In the modality by <strong>equipment<\/strong>, The projects were all aimed at contributing to the achievement of SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. The winning schools were:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li><strong>First Prize: St. Stanislaus of Kostka School<\/strong>, from Malaga.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Second Prize: l I.E.S. Las Flores<\/strong>, from \u00c1lora.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third Prize: MIT School M\u00e1laga<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In the modality <strong>individual<\/strong>, The winners of the competition, in which high school students solved a test of physical-mathematical ingenuity, were the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li><strong>First Prize: Marta Mu\u00f1oz Barcel\u00f3<\/strong> (Colegio San Estanislao de Kostka, Malaga).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Second Prize (<em>ex aequo<\/em>): Rub\u00e9n de Haro G\u00f3mez<\/strong> (I.E.S. Las Salinas, de Fuengirola) <strong>and Sebasti\u00e1n de la Torre Gil<\/strong> (Colegio Maristas Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Victoria, Malaga).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third Prize (<em>ex aequo<\/em>): Yasmin Chergui Faouzi and Alejandro Baldwin Serrano<\/strong> (both from I.E.S.
