In the last 5 years, the blue operator's investment has become a billionaire, and there is an intention to continue<\/h2>\n

Telef\u00f3nica<\/strong>\u00a0has been preparing for years for the\u00a05G<\/strong>\u00a0and, in general, of the coming explosion of connectivity (fixed and mobile). Apart from the main centres of population and business, the Community of Madrid and Catalonia, the blue operator has also turned its attention to other regions. These include\u00a01,022 million invested by Telef\u00f3nica Espa\u00f1a over the last five years in Andalusia<\/strong>. With this investment, the company managed by Emilio Gayo in our country has already\u00a072.7% of Andalusia with fibre<\/strong>; 98.1% of the population with 4G coverage; and 76.6% with 5G. With regard to this ultra-fast connectivity, Movistar has switched on 5G in the 700 MHz band in Andalusia. As a result, the region now has 106 localities with 700 MHz coverage.<\/p>\n
