{"id":301,"date":"2021-11-04T12:06:38","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T12:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/catedratelefonicauma.es\/?p=301"},"modified":"2021-11-16T05:33:24","modified_gmt":"2021-11-16T05:33:24","slug":"proyecto-piloto-para-demostrar-como-el-5g-permite-detectar-situaciones-de-riesgo-en-grandes-aglomeraciones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/catedratelefonicauma.es\/en\/proyecto-piloto-para-demostrar-como-el-5g-permite-detectar-situaciones-de-riesgo-en-grandes-aglomeraciones\/","title":{"rendered":"Pilot project to demonstrate how 5G can detect risk situations in large conurbations"},"content":{"rendered":"<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kvkwkum7-e68c0ab273a07647e88af759c3e5c181'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The Magna procession held in Malaga on 30 October 2021 has been the setting chosen to carry out a pioneering pilot test of the performance of the new 5G technology, deployed by Telef\u00f3nica in the city centre and at the University of Malaga, as part of the European R&amp;D&amp;I project. <a href=\"https:\/\/itis.uma.es\/colab\/5genesis\/\">\u20185Genesis\u2019<\/a>- which has enabled real-time monitoring of large crowds of people, with the aim of detecting possible risk situations.<\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, autonomous video cameras have been installed and six local police officers have carried 5G mobiles, capturing and consulting video in real time from different points along the route.
