An activity sponsored by Cátedra Telefónica-UMA

The Telefónica-UMA Chair has participated as a sponsor of the IV Teleco Olympics, a national initiative aimed at promoting scientific and technological vocations among secondary school students through projects related to innovation, telecommunications and sustainability.

The Teleco Olympics, organised by different Spanish schools and universities, aim to bring STEM disciplines closer to pre-university students, promoting the development of technological solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.

The selected students will soon take part in the national phase of the Spanish Computer Olympiad, where they will compete with representatives from other autonomous communities in order to be part of the national teams competing in international computer science competitions.
