The 9th edition of HackforGood, organised by the Telefónica Chairs Network and coordinated in Malaga by the 5G Chair of the University of Malaga in collaboration with 42 Malaga, has awarded students for their innovative technological projects in favour of sustainable development.

With the theme «Let's imagine a more sustainable world».», students from various fields developed solutions to achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2030).

  • The first prize -1,000 euros
  • The second prize -600 euros
  • The third prize -400 euros

The winning projects are MyKey, app to improve the autonomy of people with reduced mobility, EcoBat, smart glasses for the blind, and Sundrop, for the optimisation of water use.

HackforGood is recognised as the largest hackathon of Spain, with the support of 25 universities and several foundations, distributing more than 50,000 euros in prizes in this special edition of the Telefónica Centenary.
