Telefónica and the University of Malaga present several demonstrations in the ETS of Computer Engineering, all supported by a temporary 5G deployment by Telefónica at the same school. The demonstrations consisted of the use of real-time video analytics to count people in critical areas of the city, the use of drones with cameras for public safety and precision agriculture, and the use of 360º glasses and cameras to reproduce scenarios in a virtual hospital. Most of the participants were students in their final years of computer science. All these activities are in line with the objectives of the Chair and correspond to the results of projects in which Telefónica and the UMA collaborate, such as the pilot of the Redes Privadas Andalucía or the European project Evolved5G.
