Rethinking education in the age of AI
EnlightED 2023, the international conference that fuses education, technology and innovation, is back for its sixth edition. It will be held on 18 and 19 October at the Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Madrid, in collaboration with Fundación Telefónica, IE University, South Summit and the ”la Caixa” Foundation.
The main theme of this edition is how to reimagine education in times of Artificial Intelligence for future generations. It will focus on challenges, advantages and responses to the emerging generative AI, how it affects teachers and students, consideration of diversity, regulatory aspects, ethical boundaries and how it will influence the world of work, among other points.
The event will offer free of charge a variety of more than 30 discussions, workshops and practical examples, with the participation of 50 national and international experts. They will explore the rise of this revolutionary technology. This year's speakers will discuss the possibilities that generative AI offers in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, ethics and the workplace. Confirmed participants include Toju Duke, founder of Diverse AI; Daniel Susskind, specialist in the influence of technology on society and work; Carl-Benedikt Frey, Oxford Internet Institute; Edo Segal, entrepreneur and innovator; and Priya Lakhani, leader of Century Tech, among others.
