Workshop on Immersive Narratives and Art History II

Next 9/02, 16:30-19:00h. we return with the 2nd edition of the workshop on immersive narratives and Art History with Leticia Crespillo Marí (Predoctoral Researcher at the Department of Art History of the University of Málaga) and José Gabriel Ruiz Gonzálvez (C.E.O of Opossum Studios. A activity that takes place in the framework of the Master's Degree in Social Developments in Artistic Culture and the Telefónica-UMA 5G Chair.
The aim of this workshop is to show what Virtual Reality offers in the field of humanities in general and, more specifically, in the field of Art History. It will show, among other works, the immersive experience Postcatalogue (2020) by iArtHis_Lab (Laboratory for research, innovation and training focused on the study of artistic culture from digital, computational and techno-critical perspectives) and Opossum Studios Virtual Builders, Melilla), which was part of the exhibition Triggered catalogues and which was open to the public between December and January 2021 in the Sala del Rectorado of the University of Malaga).
